BlackSheepDesign.Co Farmhouse Tour

October 16, 2018

Hey everyone, so here it goes... I joined up with these amazing ladies to bring you inside our little Southern Oregon Farmhouses.

But to be honest... Aint nobody got time for that!!

So this might be a little bit brief... but better to keep you longing for more rather than wishing I would shut it.

My name is Lindsey and I am an interior designer... as well as a volleyball coach, farm caretaker, wife and mother. Now you know why I have no time.

My husband and I and our 4 kiddos bought and moved into our farmhouse in 2013. We had given suburbia and neighbors a try and it didn't take. So we moved out of town and found our 1918 farmhouse on 5 acres, originally in the middle of a big pear orchard but now just a bit neglected and overgrown, we moved in and got to work.

I call chicks the gateway drug to farming,  you go from 5 chicks..... to 25 chickens, 5 turkeys, 6 rabbits, 2 cows, 3 pigs, 2 barn cats, and a farm dog.

Here is a little peek of the farm... although some of these critters are not with us anymore, as they made a permanent move to Freezerville.

Ok... enough with the outside and now on to the inside. We have done some remodeling here and there but a lot has been left alone for the past 100 years.

Entry - Living Room

Its built in mania... I literally have almost no blank wall space in this joint.

Kitchen-  one of my favorite places in the house. I know I'm pretty lucky to have a kitchen this big, and believe me we use it.

The only changes we made to this space was the cement countertops, open shelving and farmhouse sink on far side of the kitchen.

And... because she is pretty darned cute, here is Bo the Farmdog our Great Pyrenees. She is kinda my favorite 4 legged critter around these parts.

And now for some misc around the house pictures... and yes my home is always this clean and no, I didn't move around a giant pile of junk, clothes, kids and who knows what else from room to room so that these amazing pictures could be taken.

So there you have it farmhouse lovers... a little peek into my crazy.... I mean my home.

oh... and here is one more of Bo the Farmdog because, well look at that face!

 Peace out.
